No need for all that the Taliban Heroin is doing a much better job.
You know before 2001 it was virtually impossible to get Afghan grade Heroin.
And now its more accessible than ever.
Funny how that works.
Compliments of the CIA. When you got the time the CIA will deliver.

I have two of these. 1 is 16ohm and the other is 8ohm. works well.
I never expected a Bugera (anything) would work well.
I know Bugera engineering has major issues with thermal management.

I have always pointed people to THD, Marshall power Brake, or Weber Mass attenuators.
I mean get real, how well do you think an attenuator from China is going to work?

A lot of US pharmaceuticals are manufactured over seas. Most of the opium fields used by the drug companies are in Afghanistan. Addiction and self loathing are 100% American though.
Yup, I bet America is leading the world in the percentage of it’s own citizens that hate their country!

Happily I’m NOT one of them! :applause:

*** cue Toby Keith "boot in yer ass" music.

Spare me the flag waving/stock car racing/M'erica BS.

Trump has really brought out the stupid in everyone. His blind supporters and his blind haters have been so over the top. I guess it makes sense when you realize that most of the people that voted for Trump voted for Obama twice.

EDIT: Didn't mean to hijack the thread but things took a crazy turn. Apologies to the OP.

As regards the attenuator, I have a Weber Mass 100. The first time I cranked up a 100 watt Marshall with it, it smoked and smelt of burning. I, of course, panicked! But it was ok, it seems the first time it gets really hot from a lot of power some residue in the device burns off. I suspect it could be a similar thing with the Bugera. The OP said it smoked, but he didn't say if it stopped working, did he?

Yup, I’m pretty sure it is the same thing. These are load boxes, they take on a lot of heat. When brand new and being used for the first time, this is not uncommon.

No electrical device in proper working order should never smoke, burn, spit fire or smell like its burning.
Those are indications that something is clearly not right.
If you doubt me call your local Fire Marshall & run that by him, see what he sez.
