Do you use a modeler? A pedal? A PPIMV or Master Volume amp? Attenuation? Reactive Load? Cab face down on floor, etc.? What is your favorite method?

All work well for bedroom playing. Reording levels would be slightly different.

Never had any problem, all my amps work. In fact, I can go low enough to hear the strings on the guitar over the amp.

PPIMV Is decent enough. I prefer reamping with a dummy load

PPIMV on my JTM 45 for bedroom playing. Sounds great, and when I record I just turn it up a little louder but not too much. I get nice cranked amp tones out of it at reasonable volumes.

I run my Jubilee 100w at 6 on the master and it is low enough that I don't think the neighbors can hear it. I play in the basement so that helps alot for the noise. The wife complains if I get it any higher than that. If I need it to be quieter i will run my Kemper in the FX return and load my profile of the Jubilee and I can get that cranked tone at much lower volumes.

Aside from cranking a Marshall in a bedroom, it can't be done, as the speaker(s) are barely working. The closest I've gotten at "bedroom levels", which is assumed to be very low levels, is using my Axe Fx. Using an actual amp, the obvious choices would be a load/re-amping device or reactive attenuator, but again, the speaker(s) are barely working.

    Gain low
Tube Screamer in front as a clean boost
This delivers some useable tones at low volumes.

I have big amps (50w and 100w) and small amps (10w, 15w and 20w). Mostly use the small ones lately even with my band. If I had to be bedroom quiet, like with other people sleeping in the house, I would use Bias amp on my computer and use headphones.
