but of course you have one of these. this here and the ice tea are my 2 fav finishes from Gibson.
yes even over the gold tops but not over the TV yellow. the tv sets in a different class altogether.
not that its better looking its just a finish everybody should own kinda like blk.
my only gripe besides the price (and i know its up there too) is the blue in the case. they should
have went with blk on this one. would have really made that yellow really pop out when opening the
case or when at rest. is the back finish the same or is it blked out? 7k about right? very damn nice
guitar. at that freakin price it should have more knobs bro. you got screwed. :coffee:

Rick, it's a new week and you are really going to hate these... Even though they arrived flawless and sound amazing, they are cheap Chicom junk. ;) The P90s are the best I have but you will hate them, they pick up everything. Listening to my wife on the treadmill thru the super lead really adds to the experience. Check out the wiring on these, what crap, even cts pots.. Lol..

ok guys, tell me why i wouldnt like your fav guitar. this one might be a brain buster guys lol.
A really good quality Custom Shop Les Paul. I like the '59 and '56 equally. The only thing that is missing is a Floyd Rose which I have another guitar for. The shorter scale length is easier to play and just sounds like no other. Covers a really broad range of music. A little short of the Strat vibe but who cares...

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I changed the p/u to a worn nickel covered DiMarzio PAF Master.

The stock Dirty Fingers was loud & harsh to my ears.

Epiphones are nice.

They're in the 335 family.

They're very good.

Not as good as the best Gibson 335.

Epiphone Casino's are great IMO.

My limited edition "Sunrise Orange" (not worn) Casino.........

Is that black dot a Memphis or Nashville made? I have a 91 Nashville that's pure.

oh how i hate it. who would take a epiphone, probably the best ready made building platform
and invest a lil change in it and get major results? i mean look at that clean wiring job right there.
who the hell wants that? i want mine messy so when i have to reattach something i gotta rip it all
out and redo it. a 5 minute job when i can spend half the damn day on it. and look how clean that
plug and play is. i think EMG might have come up with that idea many yrs back. a bright idea i must say.
oh CT pots. who needs them? always a great upgrade for the el cheapo's that some companies use.
i wanna try the EVH pots at some point. if one can imagine, they say the give you better control over
your volume and tone with very responsive sweeps. but for now CT is always a nice upgrade and well
worth doing. i like the looks of the blk pickguard. nice touch. the white one has a touch of class to it too.
when you see it you know youve seen that guitar somewhere but cant remember where exactly.
these guitars are just different enough to get a double take when you walk into the stores. a lot of idiots
i mean people will see the epi logo and walk past them. which is good for guys like us. we know there is
a good chance there is one on the shelf when we want to go see one. and all the cotton candy on other guitars
wont be here on this one from all the kids fingering it up and moving on.

oh dont get me started on those freakin P90's either. the pickup that cant make up its mind who it wants to be lol.
junk all around. who needs them? its not like they are probably the best sounding, often confused for a bucker,
but might be a single with a crazy dirt pedal pickup out there. the swiss army knife of pickups. they can do just
about anything you need done. i dont know to much by hands on about P 90's but due to alvisX i sure do like
them. i bought a Epi LP jr a few yrs back. its the midgrade version. tv yellow and houses P 90's.
a win/win in my book. the neck is a lil fat for my likes but i stole it. at some point i might roll some duncan 90's
in it and get a tusq nut and lockers on it. but yeah who needs all this crap i just mentioned anyways?
its all useless i tell ya. :h5:

The case in the photo is a Anvil Steel . (this came with the custom shop brown case with the lite purple interior , those cases are not ship safe hence the need for the Anvil Steel , which will crush anything in it's path . This was after I got the talk from my tech like it was dad talking to me about protecting my instruments when in transit , and he was right ! ) TV Yellow is one of my favorite finishes and I have serious lust for a Gibson TV Yellow something , I can't figure out if I want a double cut or a single cut Les Paul in TV Yellow. It is a most serious finish that is da bomb ! Speaking of the Dirty Lemon Burst it is in regular cherry ainline . 8lbs 14 oz of Les Paul tone . 46487_Gibson_Custom_59_Les_PauL_Brazilian_98405_2_787x_progressive - Copy.jpg You can't put more knobs on it as it would take away from it's charm . Now you did say that you like the Ice Tea finish , well I have the sister to the dirty Lemon Burst - also a Braz board 2018 R9 . Only 61 # numbers apart , but night and day difference in tone , as the Ice Tea burst is ready to rock with little to no coaxing required . Where the Dirty Lemon Burst is like a female that you have to sweet talk and wine and dine and spoil with gifts to get her to give up her goodies . The Ice Tea burst in the photo is much darker on the outer part of the burst, where here it looks like it's a cherry burst or a factory burst . The Ice tea burst to me has a vintage vibe / tone which I guess is from a more resonant piece of wood versus the Dirty Lemon , not that the Dirty Lemon doesn't rock it's just different .

My Faded 05 Flying V. Bought online and came in a cardboard box in a soft case. Nothing fancy about it but it is a player. I own, have owned or played guitars over the years with way more invested but it just has that "it" that a lot don't. One where you feel like if you had a dozen to pick from this is the one you'd walk out with. Stupid easy to play and resonates very well. It could hang with an acoustic not plugged in.

ah yes! i cant say enough bad things about the tea burst. a beautiful guitar in anybodys book bro.
this finish as always been on my list. if im correct the lastly that i love is the honey burst.
you cant go wrong with these finishes and would probably only be acceptable on a paul for sure.
love it..... no wait im pose to hate it. yeah thats it, i hate it lol.

yes those cases are a must have. i have a few Anvil cases for this and that myself. i have a few guitars i would
love to have cases ike these made for but i want it made to where i can also sink the guitars original case down inside of too.
gawd that would be heavy lol.

Because it's a PRS SE. It's all black. It has a custom printed truss rod cover with my art. It's tuned to drop-D A=432Hz with 51 37 26 21w 15 11.5 Kalium strings.

oh thats bad ass! i mean i hate it. that truss cover is just enough color to set the rest of the guitar up for a solid looksee.
i need a strat pickguard done like that. killer blackout guitar.
a lot of people dont like the birds. me i think they are cool. i wonder why he picked birds?
very smooth looking guitar and not a finger print on it. you take care of this one i can tell. i like that body shape too.
very Paul Reed for sure. bet it plays as smooth as a 20 yr olds booty.
yep i hate it.
