The Atomica rocks for sure Zach!!!
Well said!!! This guy needs therapy!!!
I really am loving this amp. It does a lot, and does it all well.
I'm curious to try one with a clean boost in front and play some thrashy stuff.
And the moral of that story is:
Keyboard Players... Yeesh (eye roll) Keep them away from the real gear
Lips that taste fine wine
Never gather moss
A bird in the hand
is a heck of a mess
ah,the good ol' days
Yeah it took my a couple hours to read this and all attachments. I feel...dirty now LMFAO!
I had a great long conversation w/ Mark Cameron on the phone yesterday, and covered some of this stuff... So much misinformation, and spin floating around.
Imo, Mark Cameron does my favorite amp mods and is a very talented designer/builder.
Right on...I was trying to bring light to Brad and all of his contradiction...
Just trying to help out Mark...Probably should not have dug this up...Sorry
still a classic-
This I don't get, and like SonVolt, I have no horse in this race, but there's tons of bad press, info, threads, and rants on this, yet a conversation with the man accused is enough to convince those that he's the victim?
I don't know of anyone who would be like, "yeah, well I ****ed up big time and stole a **** ton of money. But hey, don't hate on me." I'd take anything someone says with a grain of salt when there's a mountain of information against them. lol.
So as to not give the wrong impression, I've known Mark for many years, as well as several of those involved, and am privy to info that is not mine to share, but rest assured-- claims online are not enough to convince me or persuade me that they are factual, and imo-- they shouldn't for you either.
I hope you choose not to believe everything you hear or read as true, correct, or factual just because someone online made a claim, or engages in gossip. If you do, BEWARE of reading the tabloids, lest you believe the Batboy is real too.
Information does NOT equal factual or complete information, whether a mountain or a mole hill's worth. Just saying...
posted on an internet forum so I can't trust you.
I'm surprised you feel that way, and kinda bummed that you do. I thought we were cool, but-- it wouldn't be the 1st time I was wrong.
Well, best of luck to you anyway.
I've always thought trust was earned, and that the info I've provided you in the past was verifiable as correct and true, But--As you wish (Note to self: don't offer anymore info to Ghostman, as he's deemed me untrustworthy). That kinda makes me want to quit posting.
For the record; I've never asked for trust on a forum. I have however, been pretty consistent about suggesting that those who are seeking info, verify the info for themselves-- as there's no substitute for 1st hand experience, and that they qualify their sources of info, as not all opinions, nor experiences are equal, nor is all info correct, complete or relevant.
Zach - i think you may be overreacting a bit on this one. Ghostman's reply just sounded like a playful jab at the irony of your previous comment.
Here's Mark Day's demo of the Atomica (same link as above), before it was removed from YouTube.

Exactly. I thought it was funny.
How did I miss this?
