I have a old Vamp power combo that fell over and two wires broke away from their solder on the power/volume pot.

I tried to research the amp a bit but haven't really found all that much info on it, seems to be rare. I did however find someone who has fixed one up with very good photos. There is no contact details so i'm unable to ask his advice or permission to share his photos in a link. Anyway I hope there may be someone here who might be able to help .

Check out picture number 9 from this link
Repairing a Vampower Baby Combo Amp

The 2 red wires that connect to the power/volume pot broke right at the solder joint.

So my question is, Does it matter which way around I solder them back on?

I dont think i am missing anything stupidly obvious but if i am please point it out.I would really appreciate the help.

It does not matter at all, in that passive part of the overall circuit.
