Not as well as he used to. Also, he doesn't seem to enjoy it anymore...

That video was really painful to watch. I've seen them twice. Once was with Priest. It was during the British Steel anniversary tour. Whitesnake cancelled the tour shortly after. He was really bad. The second was time at Rocklahoma. Coverdale was significantly better, but still he keeps his singing to a minimum, and his band helps him out tremendously, as you see on that video. They do the bulk of the singing. It sucks man. When the voice is tired, the voice is tired. It has nothing to do with talent. It just goes. Perhaps Dave should do more one off shows and festivals as opposed to touring.

Sadly true - maybe he should just stick to the studio.. Mind you he lasted a lot longer than Percy Plant

Wow....that was bad. That reminds me, did anyone here see the American idol performance of "still of the night" ? Rafael Moreira was on guitar and it was a killer performance .....great tone and tons tasty guitar with killer chops.

Yes. Yes he did. That is what I was about to post. WTF? Can't they just find someone from the Philippines on YouTube, like Journey did?

Sounds like Coverdale's voice could fit in with Exodus, Kreator, or Overkill now. But not Whitesnake, not anymore.

Wasn't Still of the Night recorded with a Mesa Mark III Coliseum?

IIRC, on that album, he used Mesa for rhythm & Marshall for lead...

    Still, a killer rhythm sound...
