Which lead guitarist, not frontman, would you switch with?

Buck Dharma, to be that cool would be quite the trip plus you'd know you have some serious chops.

The second album wasn't released until the fall of 69 but the first album and the various rock and roll tunes they did was and I'm not kidding, out of this world. I was within 15' or him all night.

I had a little rock/blues high school band and I tried to understand what and how he was playing, picked up a little but mostly, I was in ah of the guitar maestro. I was able to see LZ 6 more times around the country but the first show was to say the least, Amazing.

Yeah I agree why replace anyone and deprive ourselves of the gem players already existing. I really like Leslie West but how could anyone but Leslie replace himself?

Fire Lars? I would fire Hammett too along with Lars and kept Dave. But then we wouldn't have had M-Deth.

Cliff was better than Newsted but to Jason's credit he put up with Lars and Hammett same as Het did!

Hetfield doesn't need Lars or Hammett. Only a monkey would show up at the 1996 MTV Video Awards holding a banana as Hammett did.

Dave made a point to tell the planet that he screwed HAMMETT'S GF too.

I saw the video of Dave stating below:

In a September 2004 interview, Mustaine famously stated, "I really don't care about Kirk — he stole my job, but at least I got to bang his girlfriend before he took my job. How do I taste, Kirk?"

ok 1st I wrote I would have made sure Lars was sleeping where Cliff was on the bus, but that was kinda mean. I don't wish that on anyone.

I was huge Metallica fan back in '84. Hetfield and Burton were the whole band IMHO. I stood right in front of Cliff at Day on the Green, that dude was a monster on the bass and one helluva character. Metallica was never the same after Cliff died, and I could never get into their music after Master of Puppets.

Warren Haynes. Get to play with Dicky Betts, and Derek Trucks, and that rhythm section. And Greg. Get to play great songs. Get to play loud and for as long you want. Never have to play anything exactly the same way twice.

I saw Howard with Heart on the Bebe Le Strange tour in San Diego Aug 1980. Roger Fisher had his custom guitar that helped build Heart.

Sort of Alembic-ish and of that era.

I don't quite get it. Was the title of this thread: "Which lead guitarist, not
front-man, would you have most fun painting his chick lead singer's face?"
