    I dunno both seem ok.... I love my TC alter ego (flashback in another version) does everything I need in spades. I also like minimal. Less knobs n switches n tweaking equals more playing to me. But if I had to pick one... Probably the strymon. Good clips both showing potential especially for recording.

    Yeah, Strymon makes great stuff.

    Here's one of the many delays I have and use:

    I'm a Carl Martin guy. Have both the Echotone and Red Repeat on my pedalboard, and love 'em.

    I use the BOSS Waza analog delay. The 'Custom' mode gets you up to 800ms delay time, which is a long time. Nothing like analog and it's not too expensive.

    I have a Hardwire delay that is most excellent, used it cost around 75 shekels.
    Keeley makes some killers too.
    One that i used to have was a Danelectro Dan-echo, i really have myself convinced that it was badass and i need another one, i could be wrong though.....it's been a long time:thumb:

    @axe4me

    I don't see how you get answers without any criteria other than you like Strymon?

    I use an Electro Harmonix Memory Boy. I use it not to often, but when I use it, I like it.... I am more a kind of reverb guy though.

    The reason I like Eventide is the Lexicon delay system.
    Plus I can't stand the noise from cheap effects pedals from China. Too much Hissssssssssss, too much Buzzzzzzzzzzzzz, too much Hum.
    Finally a delay that sounds good.

    If in an effects loop I like a delay pedal i can control remotely with a MIDI switch and expression pedal. It's not so much i need the extra capability i just don't like the added long cable runs just to have it at my feet. I use a Flashback X4. Three presets, none, a little, a little more.
