We also have a crate it’s on loan right now it’s a 15 watt practice amp, and we also have a crate 25watt bass amp! no disrespect intended, just the way I have seen a lot of my brothers here tease one another! Cheers Mitch

That's all good mate, I didn't take it as disrespectful, all amps get ridiculed I'm not a crate fan by any means and certainly not a fan of every marshall, there all usable but if you tweak them in the right direction. Cheers

Since non-Marshall amps are being mentioned, I'm in talks to trade my Roland Juno-60 for a '79 Vibro-Champ and cash tomorrow. I was toying with the idea of building a 5E3 or smaller, but I wouldn't be getting the tremolo circuit and tone stack. This now gives me the 6V6 powered amp to go with the modded JTM60 representing EL34 and the modded DC-5 representing 6L6.

None. I got my DSL20HR which is fine for now. Plus, I'm not nearly as good as many of you; I can only play through one amp at a time.

Of course, considering how cheaply these things are made; if it spontaneously combusts into a ball of fire and burns down the entire studio, I just may be in the market for a new guitar amp, never know.

My first amp was 65 or 66 Vibro-Champ, I was 12 years old. Man I wish I had kept that! :noplease:

    Circlotron.
And I'm thinking about a Vacuum Tube amp Attenuator. Uses tubes instead of resistors to attenuate speaker output of amplifiers.

I recall reading there somewhere that there was a minor change to the circuit at some point after the horizontal inputs. Possibly related to the speaker change. I could be full of crap too. Actually, forget I said anything.

Funnily enough, I jumped at the '79 Vibro-Champ offer because it will be filling the void left behind when I sold my first tube amp - an Epiphone Valve Junior I got when I was in high school. But I was never able to crank it due to living circumstances, and the Mesa DC-5 I bought when I was finally out on my own got me much closer to what I wanted without pedals (even more so after mods).

Now that I have an attenuator, I can't wait to crank the Vibro-Champ.

I bought a 1979 JMP on December 29, 2018. Guess that I got an early start on 2019.

Acquired a mid '70's Full stack and sourcing parts for
a 12 Series build with effects loop. Halfway there.
