I've probably gone a bit crazy during covid and bought way too many amps. I'm looking to part with a few. I play a ton of different music but the heaviest is maybe Motley Crue. I mainly live in the punk realm.

    So I have:
    • JCM800 2203
    • JCM900 MKiii
    • Silver Jubilee 2555x
    • Ceriatone Molecular (Based on Cameron Atomica)
    • Ceriatone Plexi 101
    • Vox AC100cph
Thinking about selling 1 or 2 out of these 3...
    • JCM900 MKiii
    • Silver Jubilee 2555x
    • Ceriatone Molecular
What would you part with? Having trouble deciding.

    CeriaCLONE.
Keep the real deal. That JCM 900 Mkiii and 2555x are STUPID good amps and I feel the regrets for you down the road. Marshall did it right with both those amps.

Since you are asking for opinions, I would part with the amps that use clipping diodes (or a bridge rectifier) for preamp distortion.

I wasn't sure, but I thought the 900 and the Jubilee did, as does my JCM602 which is why I desoldered and lifted one end of C105 effectively eliminating the diodes from the circuit.

    (hope you know, I'm kidding.)

That's too easy. Just line 'em up and play them and sell the two that don't sound as good as the others :)

since this is the Marshall forum, in spirit of the forum & goodwill, the correct answer is:

Do not sell any of them & be on the look out for something else to add to your stash... :)...

Shew, Parting with gear? Don't you have a wife, kid, car, lawn mower or something else you can get rid of first? Damn man, don't you have something on someone? Try blackmailing somebody, or even panhandle between gigs!!

If you don’t buy all these amps you don’t have to sell them some day

If I had to sell 2 I'd sell the plexi 101, and the Vox, and keep the rest. My modis operandi would be to keep them all..I'm a horder..what can I say.

What's the Vox good for? I would offload that one.

I would sell the 900 and Jube first, I don't know enough about the Vox. The Plexi 101 and Mol. I would keep for sure, depending on the which 2203 it is I would also keep. If I weren't going to order a custom amp soon I would gladly buy both the 101 and Molecular off you.

I'd only keep the 2203 & MKiii ... I'd sell the rest, and use the money to add a 1959/1987.
