Crappy Ford car...................
Energy from gravity
A misguided and usually very bad attempt to mix jazz with rock and roll. Those few times it actually works are notable.
Stick any old random thing with another random thing.
Hey Presto! Fusion. The latest cutting edge thing!
Unless you are talking the Charvel Fusion range.
That fusion works! (or at least mine does)
It's rock and roll for musicians who are determined to never get laid.
Both fission and fusion are nuclear reactions that produce energy, but the applications are not the same. Fission is the splitting of a heavy, unstable nucleus into two lighter nuclei, and fusion is the process where two light nuclei combine together releasing vast amounts of energy.
Yeah jazz mixed with rock. Not really my cup of tea.
IMHO, there's more than a few..Return To Forever and the solo stuff the members of that band did..Then there's Colosseum II, the Dixie Dregs..Admittedly most of the good stuff from that genre was done in the 70's.
Usually, technically very talented musicians playing something no one but themselves wants to hear. If they are not playing then they themselves probably don't want to hear it either.
Jeff Beck's "Blow by Blow" and "Wired" are fusion. Bunches of Mahavishnu Orchestra alumni on those records.
Jeff Beck ain't fusion. He's a fucking alien.
It means the opposite to fission.
It means I want to sound like Guthrie Govan?
boring car, boring music, jackson guitar from the 90s, cool energy.
i never classified Jeff Beck as belonging to any particular genre of styles.
It's more like he invented his own.
the 'con' fell
off the start of the word.
It's not all jazz.
There are other types of fusion!
Hayseed Dixie for example.
