George L’s works great for me.

Have used Ernie Ball patch cables as well.

George L’s = right tool for the right job.

I think so more clearer sound less muddy some.

Probably not much difference in clarity even when using the shoddiest cheap cable in comparison, but more shielding, less noise being picked up might help. Impossible to say without actually trying it though.

Bad connections from cable to the plugs could add up capacitance.
If it's well done it should only be around 10 pF max per plug.
But who knows how it is with really crappy cables.

How's it working for you? I use a 6" straight cable, no problem.

It just came up the other day and I haven't been able to fire the amp up yet! I keep covers on my heads, so I love that I can leave it plugged it and the cover on.
