Yeah, I don't know what to say either.
It's as if a drunk Jeff Beck with broken fingers, SRV risen from beyond, Dr John and a rando woman had a love... disaster. Cannot be unheard or unseen...
Never have been a fan but this was just embarrassing.
It's worse than even Joe Perry's solo stint when he quit on Tyler way back and toured shacks and shantys.
Weird thing is he can sing very very well. I don't know why he's shouting. Maybe he lost his singing voice. Bumber.
Meanwhile Billy Gibbons still rips it up and he's 70. Ted Nugent rocks as hard as he ever did and he's 72.
Not every musician ages like fine wine. Some age like milk. Playing included.
I generally suspect drugs or alcohol to be at the heart of such problems as that.
Agree on The Rev and Uncle Ted.
I saw Eric Clapton two weeks ago. Voice and playing is all still there. He's 76. Amazing.
Yes, Clapton is amazing because he's held it together so well despite a LOT of issues with drugs and alcohol in his life. I respect him, but I'm not one of those "clapton is god" worshipper types. He's not my favorite player. Still worthy of respect, though.
He playing an empty bar? Damn I was always a fan of his. Didn’t realize he was so fucked up
From someone who has, in the past, been drunk for months at a time, I can say with some degree of certainty, he's hammered.
Yeah, that's what drugs will do to ya.
Wish I hadn't hit 'Play'!
I've seen worse...
Late weekend night LA? Hollywood Blvd. Sunset Blvd. May I ask if it just requires a look out the window?
