Checked in but didn't post anything. We have had one self-exile that I know of since I became a mod, because I would allow them to personally slander one of our members and I was deleting their personal insults towards this said member. He took offence and hasn't been back. It's too bad, but what can you do? If someone wants to leave on their own, they are free to make that decision. A bit different, but similar to this situation. Grunch hated everyone and tried to make trouble. This other person that was the brunt of the insults wasn't, and never does, try to hurt anyone or cause trouble...the other guy just didn't like him.

There was this one camera forum where I was an Admin/Mod and I got upset with the owner for shitting in one members 'poor health / cancer' thread. I stopped visiting there, he removed my permissions, but there is one computer here that has that forum as a default page. Every time I fire up the browser on that machine it takes me there, and I have to exit the page. Counts as a visit, although I have no desire to browse around or participate. By the time I am done doing what I wanted to do, I have already forgotten to remove the page from the startup page list...
Not always. Sometimes they self-destruct in such a grandiose manner that the admin make sure that they can't return.
