Sam's voice is shot. He just kind of groans & growls now. He could never do a VH re-union because he could never hit the notes.
I saw him two years ago and he nailed VanHagar, Zep and his own tunes! It’s was one of the best shows I have ever seen. He had awesome reviews from some well respected and talented people in my area. It may be off a bit but he kicked ass and he’s retained his voice better than anyone else in his age group after years of singing for sure.
He does his radio show on a local station on the weekends. He sounds pretty rough when he tries to sing & yell. Maybe its just a radio thing.
i saw a video just the other day of Mike playing with John5. hes not lost a damn thing. ok a few hairs but damn, havent we all? he still looks like the old Mike and very healthy.
Maybe hes not warmed up or hasnt had his tequila yet...lol! Ill report back after the show in June. Hopefully his voice has not shit the bed in the last two years!?
The state of rock music today. Discussing 7O+ year old musicians, hoping that they can perform for upcoming shows? Sad! Rock music is being suppressed.

Thats interesting CD!!! Just think hes getting up there and maybe, just maybe he does who knows?? But when you think of it, a lot of todays current so called pop singers need to these devices right out of the gate at a young age. Theres something seriously wrong here. (I say this based on what I have heard from others in the "know" and when I hear them live versus on the recordings).
