I bought this top way back, and I played it alot! I brought it on gigs!
But now its been sitting in my basement for a while,
and as we are moving to a smaller place, this beast sadly has to go.
But has it's value increased at all?
Will I be able to make a profit of this relic?
    Any insight appreciated!

They don't go for a great deal of money - around £150 tops for a head over here depending on condition.

If you're happy with it I'd keep it!

It's quite a revered piece in old school metal circles.
Lots of watershed albums have been recorded with it.

So what it's worth to one type of player,
    might not equate to another.

I have an old 8100 head and cab that's been around a bit. Got it cheap ( $400) about 10 yrs ago from an old friend of mine's sister. I'd never part with it, so to me it's priceless.

    Thanks, all!
    I've researched a bit, and if I'm lucky i won't lose any money! ;)
I do find it priceless, but I'm not playing it anymore, so a little pocket money for me, and a dream come true for the buyer might be a great deal considering ;)

To me the thought of a young player getting their hands on an amp that would otherwise be not used is a good thing. I have some times given old gear to kids that couldn't afford it and I have no regrets. With the way this generation has turned it's back on rock n roll the least we old farts can do is encourage the ones that have the right mindset.

Had the same head from 1996 to about 2003.

Last one I seen for sale went for $200 about a year ago.

I live in the midwest and I see them for 150-200 depending on condition. Sometimes people sell them with a cabinet for 200 around here.
