Happy Earth Day, to my favorite planet, and all who inhabit it.
And God Bless to those who will inherit it...
Happy Earth Day ... happy to share it w/all of you guys (both the day and the earth)!
View of the Earth rising over the Moon (taken from Apollo 11, 1969)...
Shame humans live on it.
The true cancer that is humanity will ruin it.. and is ruining it.
Reproducing speedily like cancer, we too like cancer move from each area to the next depopulating it of healthiness and replacing it with nothing but the dead.
Hopefully one day as George Carlin puts, the earth with shake its back and we'll disappear and be a mere rumor, just like a bad case of fleas.
If there was ever a paradox to me, it's the beauty of the earth. It's misfortunate you have to be part of the hatred animal that is man to see it prosper so eloquently, mysteriously and wonderfully.
Now if only we saw the world or earth that is our minds, and gave enough of a shit about that before we start fucking up the earth.
And the most offensive idea anyone ever had, was that it was created. A world created for what? - war, death, rape, hatred, dogma, arrogance, genital mutilation, dictatorship?
Hell, if I was creating a world - humans would be the last thing I'd introduce.
Anyway, I hope this comment only echoes in the wells of silence of each mind that may read it, for it is freedom and freedom of expression in essence only.
"Fools", said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words, like silent raindrops fell
In the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls"
And whispered in the sounds of silence"
What a beautiful song.
Oh yeah haha, Happy Earth Day!
