Anyone else have one of these?

I stumbled across mine on craigslist, it is the "Summer of Love" edition aka Jimi Hendrix's Monterey Strat. I offered $350 and the guitar came home with me. I really dig this guitar, sounds more like a strat than my Fenders. The neck is thicker than any Fender I have played and it has jumbo frets which I really love. The paintjob is pretty cool looking, the rellicing is kinda basic and not realistic up close. Hardware looks and feels of good quality. The tuners hold tuning extremely well, even with heavy tremelo use. The only real complaint I had with this guitar were the frets were razor sharp. I simply took care of them with my needle file kit and its a great little guitar now but completely unacceptible if they are like that from the factory.

I am unsure if they are worth the price brand new, i see em at $500-$700 online but I am very happy with it!

I'd take it home for $350 if it played well. I've tried a few Vintage strats at a local shop and haven't been crazy about them, based on neck shape. Although one model was excellent feeling. I like Hendrix paint job. It's a bit polarizing, but, whatever.
    Rock on.
