I would really like to see Pete and Ian Thornley do something together. They're already friends, both Canadian, and it was Pete that got Ian into Suhr guitars. They've also performed together at a few of the Suhr factory shows.

It would be a total guitar geekfest.

I bought a Suhr SL68 because of him. It's the best amp (Marshall sound) I've ever heard.

His Van Halen tone and pickup videos are well done and I highly recommend you watch them if you haven't already.

Pete Thorn inspires me to be a better musician. I always watch his Sunday Live episodes and learn so much. My son is starting to learn how to play and I introduced him to Pete's channel. I wish I had someone like Pete or youtube in general when I was learning. Pete puts a lot of effort into his videos and it shows.

I've seen a tiny bit of a video here or there. Still don't know who he is.
I very rarely watch these types of videos though. Pretty much I just watch live performances on utube, also sometimes official videos and sometimes random covers.
I'll watch a gear demo if there is something particular I'm curious about.
Guys like Pete and Beato - I could watch more if their videos were much shorted. I usually get bored and start skipping ahead. lol

because once AGAIN you come on a thread and totally ignore the flow and post up something TOTALLY unrelated.
thats what you do. you cant stand when a thread isnt about you or your direction. its Narcissistic.
why in the hell would you pop in and post up other names when a thread is clearly, and by title, about 1 person?
damn sure wasnt about Rhett Shull, Shawn Tubbs, Brett Kingman, Justin Derrico, Carl Brown, Marty Schwartz, Greg Koch, Lance Keltner
didnt my last post to you give you any sort of clue? people are tired of this type shit dude. its over and over again
with you. i mean how many people chimed in on it before? your a attention seeker. if its not about you or yours you will try to make it that way anyway you can even if you have to derail the whole damn thread. hell just by replying to you hear its about YOU once again lol. i have to much respect for this forum to keep going with you on this and
muddying up another thread involving YOU once again. im gonna take the high road and get back to the thread at hand, but i'll bet anything the Narcissist in you will not let this be the end of it. you will have to have the last word.
wont take long here to prove me right. lets watch and see.

lol We do have Kokanee here, but not in any of the lakes around me. Kokanee are landlocked sockeye salmon. Saltwater fishing is far too active for bringing the guitar in the thick of the season. It's early though, so when I go this evening I'll take a guitar. Tide isn't until 6:40'ish so I have a little time.

    Just to stay on topic....

Mad Professor 1, demo by Pete Thorn - YouTube

I have this pedal and it can turn a Fender Twin into 1978 L.A. It's a one trick pony, but a really cool trick!

Bonus : He plays the amber EVH Wolfgang King Edward gifted him.

he really is isnt he? he make you want to learn and experiment with your gear too.
as humble as they come too. funny thing is there are a lot of guitar folks out there that
bash other channels. nobody can say anything bad about this guy.

yeah you can hear some Ed in this demo cant you?
can you imagine being a company that just got told "nope" by PT when askig him to do
a demo of your new product? do you scrap the new product or lower the price and limit the production?
it really has to be a blessing to get him to demo your gear. he really brings out every bit of what a product
can do in his videos. if its in there he will find it thats for damn sure. cant shit hide from Pete.
