A country should respect its vets.
It has been Armistice Day here.
A day to remember the end of WWI, and the soldiers who fought.
Yes, 100% we need to acknowledge our vets with full respect. They sacrificed.
It was called that here as well. It's really the same thing, just, since we've had more conflicts since, they've expanded it to honor people who('ve) serve(d) past & present.
Today, is the 100 year anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier... which is symbolic of all of the bodies recovered, that were never identified...
This is a day that stiffens spines and breaks hearts. Its all about the warriors, as it should be.
