I wonder what the Marsnall head pictured above will wind up going for :hmm:
ironically, that one's getting bid on, while there's a 4 holer a couple pages back w/ no bids yet...

I remember, a while back, I spotted a JMP, that was owned by Bernie Torme' who used it when he played w/ Gillian (band) & also Ozzy, Diary of a Madman tour, right after Randy died.

It was on ebay.

I thought it was going to go way up, so I didn't even bother bidding. I took a peak, after the auction was over & it sold for $1600...

also, when they did the Gary Moore auction, some stuff went for pretty cheap. Member @willwallner snagged up some equipment...

A while back, they had some Steely Dan stuff, & they sold some stuff way under used prices...

I'll probably take a look through the whole auction later on this evening (I just kinda skipped quickly through the first page).

It's hard to believe he had room to store all of that stuff.

It really depends on who wants it bad enough and when. There are three Marshall heads available and i think six 5150 Peavey's up for auction. I would be happy with any one of those.

When I bought my modded 2203 from Dio's estate the first out of six heads total sold for over 4G. The second one dropped in price considerably. IIRC it sold for just over 2G. Mine was third and I bought it for $1700. The others all sold for around the same price as mine. I also bought two of the original 800 series 1960b cabs for $300 a piece.

Now with all that being said, the final value fees for the auction house, plus the shipping fees to another company, its quite a racket. When it was all said and done, I bought a Lee Jackson modded 2203, and two 1960b's for $2300. Between the house fees, and shipping it cost me 5G. Not that I really had a problem with that but thats where they get you. The house is one fee, and they usually use another company to ship it, which is also owned by the auction house. These people will crate your items like its a Picasso and whack you hard in the wallet.

Bid accordingly but also beware.
