you never tried because it costs too much time or you don't have the resources or maybe you just keep putting it off until tomorrow and tomorrow never comes because there's always some other thing that takes priority or maybe you're just too afraid to do it or there's someone in your life who's keeping you from doing it for some reason.

But you still wish you could do it.

I always wanted to be a midget wrestler until a late high school growth spurt led me to playing guitar. I never made it as a guitar player so now I'm the stunt double for the finger on the Ziplock commercials. My life sucks.:pissed:

My cousin makes his guitar sound like a steel pedal guitar.

He uses his left hand to lightly fret while his right hand pinky is using the volume knob for swells.

    He's amazing.

Water skiing. I have always been afraid of lakes and the creepy things that live in lakes.
But it I think it'd be cool to water ski.

hah! I tried that... just once! COMPLETE FAIL!
I could not believe I was actually doing it, but when I wiped out, I landed perfectly square on my but. Guess where the water shot up? OUCH! Very painful experience, and deterred my curiosity forever lol.

Mad respect to old school blacksmiths. I wish I could forge earthly metals as they do.

I just posted similar in another forum here about mandolin makers. Man, you think $10,000 is a lot to pay for a really nice mandolin? You need to see how the good ones are made - it's unbelievable the tools, the time, the work and excellent craftsmanship that goes into those things. I watched a video of a guy building a mandolin for a customer, and I have to say, if I had to build just one of those things I would be exhausted to the point of never wanting to do it again. And then let's say I did pay $10K for one. The day the maker handed it to me, I wouldn't be thinking about the money I spent, I'd be thinking "Now I'm supposed to play this thing and get fingerprints and sweat and dirt and grime all over it for the next X number of years? Shouldn't this be in a museum instead?".

But, so yeah, I always wanted to build a mandolin.

Just remember - they're all deathly afraid of you Vin! Except maybe the flesh eating microbe fellers...

Sport a six pack vs. the current pony keg.

I see your harmless land dwelling stick bug and raise you scorpions, tarantulas and rattlesnakes - oh my! In the 35 years I spent in Texas I saw lots of the last two and none of the first dude. I was always careful not to stick my hand under stuff as I'm told they would make a grown man cry.

Back to topic - date a super model - play Eruption well enough that Ed quits playing - protest stupidity.

Lake don’t have sharks or anything really bad except maybe alligators and alligator snappers and maybe flesh eating microbes.

unless you’re in Scotland and the last dinosaur in Loch Ness gets you, but I think the boat with skis can outrun her.....
