:ot: My 06 Tacoma has a built in type of power outlet, I really need to see if it will power up a dsl40c, if it does, I am going to take out into the hills we used to go riding in and crank the ever loving shit out of it! Cheers Mitch ( I shall record it if it works)

I did this with My DSL100 and half stack when they were fairly new (the one in ,,, no, the one on the boat) The cab never sounded the same afterwards (Better!)

Can go either way, half though is best for me at my old age. In 73 I had a 1959 stack, plugged straight in and pushed. Glorious and deafening. Andy Milton was playin Bass thru 4 2x15 standel cabs preamped with a yb3 head. That rig could walk by the stack no problem. This in a my basement. Drummer Brad Holdsworth had a rogers kit he scored from up north from Doc Severinson's drummer. Keyboard player had 2 leslies and i think an M3. We were doing some purple I think or Humble Pie and I was really getting some nice controlled feedback and Kevin, the keyboard player, iirc stopped to take a break, he didn't feel well from all the sound pressure. I remember mom coming home one day and shut us down, said the front yard was shaking... She was pissed. Well, that is one memory with that old rig, wish I still had it. Oh, Andy went on to play with Satriani in The Squares in SF. He passed on years ago from an OD. Was a good friend, miss him.

I ran 2-4x12's (not stacked usually), 1-2204 and 1-2203 in stereo back in the day. 2-4x12's is a hard combination to beat. Still have 1 stack I run (not stacked) with only one cab hot.

Small jams I just grab a modded Fender Pro Jr 1x10. I't rocks very well but I do miss the fullness of the 4x12. Lotsa love for the straight cab.

Ha, thank you. Thank you very much. (applause, takes a bow).
The part I didn't tell you is that the only cab plugged in is the 1x12 iso cab. (not pictured)

I thought "Blasting" the fish out of the water was not fair play?
Though it will help get your fish count up.

There is nothing ludicrous about your half stack on the boat. Last year I brought the R9 with my 4010 combo. It’s ideal...my wife is up in the sun and I’m below jamming. But also last year we got a bigger boat, so now I can play a full stack in the aft cabin if I want. A half stack is reasonable. Plus I could never spend a weekend without a Marshall.

Gigging it was a 2204 and a b cab, so that's how I voted. Now I don't play out anymore so my favorite configuration is a full stack. Of course not having to move it is a huge plus, but in actuality nothing sounds better imo 15522326494706561439731513633694.jpg than a full stack moving air.
