I didn't want to clutter the other thread with this, but for all of you talking about price increases, I've got one for you. In 2015, I bought my first Carvin, a DC600. Neck-through, Quilted Maple top, Aquaburst finish, real Floyd, locking tuners (not that they matter with a Floyd nut), five-piece neck, Birdseye Maple fingerboard, diamond abalone inlays, Satin painted rear of neck, factory hardshell case. My final price was a little over $1800.00. This was about a year before the Carvin name was ditched in favor of Kiesel. I just did a mockup of my exact same DC with the same specs today, and look what we get: Don't get me wrong; I'm not picking on Kiesel because it's not their fault, but it does illustrate the mess we're in.
