Hello people,
Could you please help me with this ?

I have a stock 1960B cab and would like to put 4 x 8-ohm speakers I have around into it to try. ( 2 x K100 + 2 x V30 )

So, if I was to just swap out each of the 4 x 16-ohm t75s in exactly the same way they are plugged in now, would It then be = MONO 8 ohm’s ( where MONO 16 ohm’s is stock now ) & so on, 2 x 4 ohm’s stereo? / And a 2 ohm’s mono on the left side ?

I’m new to this and want to keep it simple for me for now.
I’m hoping to just switch it to MONO and keep it on 8 ?

Thank everyone 🤝

Yes, if you wire the 8’s up exactly the same way as the 16s, you will have an eight ohm and a two ohm load.

Thank you very much, it seemed right to me but wasn’t totally sure.
Lots on this topic but I couldn’t find exactly what I needed or understood for my purposes.
Thanks again 🙏

If you have doubts, just use a multimeter to check the resistance after you’ve done rewiring.
