Watched this video again for the 1000th time ( one of the songs I love playing) and only just now noticed the 30 odd something frets on his guitar. I was thinking he was on the second verse as he was so low on the neck, but nope it was the first, then I looked again and was like ummmmm
Cool Ty for the replies, that's a mean looking axe, I wonder if it's still in fender type scale length. I know I couldn't do those bends that easy with anything over the stock 24,6 or whatever. Ty for the info, doesn't look like I will be buying one this decade, hell a cool thou
It could be a baritone guitar. Did you see the look in the eyes of the ladies in the show devil music
The best looking girl never even looked at the camera, think she was the only one both a enjoying it and B drooling over link
And looking at both the above two links I think they hit the money, danelectro 31 fret longhorn, I believe there is a bass of the same name and maybe even same dimensions, still can't find a scale length for it, found a radius but no scale length...
yeah, the specific model though is guitarlin. Someone says like a mandolin, but, I think it gets more into violin territory up there, in the 24-31 fret region...
I believe this model of guitar was introduced to early surf bands by aliens from planet Deltone The US government has covered it up for decades but there exists compelling evidence that some of the most famous guitar designs were brought here by extraterrestrials! Here is proof:
Those horns were developed to hold all the thick laced bloomers that would fly up on the stage every time they played that song. Not many people know this but that was shot during their very early days, today they are known as Twisted Sister.
Fantastic higher feet access. However anything above the 24th fret is placebo, lol. Dogs start whining. Bats wake up. Teenagers get nose bleeds.
Link's 1958 Danelectro Guitarlin, serial #1088, which he used until sometime in 1960. Used to record "Rawhide", "Comanche" and "Slinky". It was eventually passed on to Bobby Howard.
I love the drum set!! HA!! Back in the day I would’ve loved to tell my,...(giant double floor bass drum, double riding toms, double floor toms, a bajillion cymbals),...drummer that he had to use this set,..... .....oh, and btw, no drummers throne either,...just stand like the rest of us!!!! HA!!
I wonder how the drummer used the kick in that set up, LOL. Doesn't look like anything was plugged in, does it?
