Does anyone ever use Solderless Pickup systems in their guitars?

Like Obsidian wire and SD's liberator.

Are there any negatives to using them. Like does it affect tone or playability? Are there benefits to soldering over solderless and vice versa?

    Thanks

I have passive EMG's in one of my Telecasters.

    Works fine.

Aren't all of the newer (2008 and thereafter) Gibson guitars equipped with quick connect pickups that do not use solder? They sound fine to me.

I use a $25 Seymour Duncan Liberator in two of my guitars.
Once installed in the right guitar, it makes changing pick ups fast.
A guitar with a large cavity is the key, otherwise, the Liberator needs to be loosened and dropped each time you change pups.
