big fat bbq steak & potatoes... I cooked a turkey & had turkey, stuffing, etc., yesterday & today. I'm turkey'd out... ... Not really, but, I've had my thanksgiving turkey already though. I actually bought a couple stuffed turkeys from Costco, the last couple weeks, so I also ate those. They're small, but, still, a couple meals each. The one we cooked up yesterday was a ½ turkey, w/ lots of stuffing, potatoes, greenbeans, cranberries, etc. There's still quite a bit of turkey left, but... we are going to bbq a steak & bake some potatoes. I also bought a big fat carrot, so, I'm going to bake the hell out of it too... Oh yeah, had BBQ ham sat, & bbq roast for lunch today... I think I gained 80 pounds this week! ...
Sorry, I'm in Australia, meat pie and beer for me . Because that is what our whole diet consists off ( Bloody poachers stole all our bloody shrimp mate! STREWTH)
Traditional meal for Thanksgiving, turkey, taters - white and orange, stuffing, veggies, pumpkin pie, etc, etc, etc,.......we only eat this menu once a year, ham for Easter and prime rib for Christmas. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
We're going to my brother-in-laws home. They'll be 9 of us and they'll be food for 20. Turkey; ham; stuffing; veggies; wine & beer. Cheese cake; pudding & canolli for desert. It's an eating day. I can have turkey 24/7
Careful Axe, anymore then 10 people gathering and the Swat team's gonna kick in the door and take everyone to jail. Lol.
Always Turkey for Thanksgiving and ham for Christmas for me. Can't see it any other way. I had rack of lamb a couple years back at a friends house and it just wasn't the same. I'm not going anywhere today and not having anyone over besides my mom that lives with me for the holidays (I have no family left outside of her anyways). I've been in self isolation since the 1st news of the covid outbreak in china knowing it was more than likely in the states at that point already so it's no big deal at this point not spending the holidays with anyone but mum. Happy Thanksgiving!!
I've got a turkey breast on my smoker this morning. Apple wood at 250 degrees. I'm following that up with chicken bites for the afternoon. Basically meat candy. Better grab a handful. My wife has the rest covered. As long as i get my sweet potato souffle I'm good. It's just us today
Both. I'll rotisserie the turkey on my big ass grill, like I always do. About to start. Also a Honey Baked ham. All the southern fixings to go along with it; cornbread dressing, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls, etc. Then lots of leftovers. We had grilled filet and baked sweet potato last night. Gives me the protein and food happiness to get me through today. Happy Thanksgiving MF'ers!
You thought it was just you and your wife. I'm showing up at your door. I'll bring my own silverware. I can at least do that. "Meat Candy"? Maybe I'll use that term for what I have in my pants when talking to women.
