Very tasty playing, great riffs&licks, great sound, great sound :)

I have always liked the Jubilee, still adore it and to me it is my reference amp and consider it to be the best design they put out in the 80s.
But for me it always had some drawbacks, so I built one for me.
I made the rhythm clip footswitchable, and added a second volume to compensate for the volume drop. Plus I disconnect the rhythm clip circuit each time Leead is activated (additional relay), since I didn't like its influence on the lead tone. I believe this wasn't intended by the designer Steve Grindrod because it is rather subtle. But maybe he didn't want to add more complexity to the switching scheme :)

I enjoy it with a Marshall/Celestion G12 Vintage loaded cabinet.

Very cool! Seems like they would be very useful mods for live playing indeed!

    Thank you! They're ok....

Thanks for the great demo. I really like my 2525H although it doesn't get played nearly enough.

I might dig it out again this weekend.

    I'm using a Palmer one: https://www.andertons.co.uk/palmer-...MIp5uj1biZ5wIVV5nVCh2dmgeFEAQYBSABEgI8dfD_BwE

Originally bought for my SV20H, but when I swapped the heads over I left it in circuit. The 2525H doesn't need as much attenuation due to the master volume, but it allows me to run the MV higher and get the output stage cooking a bit. It may reduce the top end a bit, but I just dial in the sound I want with the attenuator engaged. The eq on the 2525H is pretty flexible anyway as I guess you know.

    Great playing too. :dude:

I applaud you and a job very well done . I found your demo very informative and so much sonic information loaded in as well . I myself use 2 2555X into 2 2551AV cabs and run my settings very close to yours and it works wonders . Pardon me for being naïve but can you tell me about the equipment you were listing on the bottom of your demo video . I think one piece was a digital rack mounted reverb ? What about the others that you listed ? I really liked the tones you were getting using your Tele . I have also used Tele's as I am primarily a Les Paul user and like the tone with the Les Paul's and humbucker's . My Strat's sound like poop and thus I have stopped playing them . I don't use any distortion or overdrive and switch between the clean channel to the lead channel and this gets the job done for me . My sincere compliments on your playing and recording and video work as this was aces and 10's across the board . Well done ! P.S. , one more thought is that at the moment I am at work , and your video was so good that I want to run home right away and power up and plug in and play . Your video is inspiring and that is a wonderful thing for which I Thank You !

Thanks very much! :) The reverb and delays are just plugins that I put on the sounds in my daw after the fact. The Line 6 effects (the Orange reverb for example) can also be used on any of the Line 6 Helix/HX hardware platforms but for me it's easier to do it in my daw for these videos.

I also really love how my Tele sounds through this amp!

Do you have any pictures or audio clips?
    What schematics were you using?
    Thanks

I've never had an issue with the silver, grey or whatever on my 2525H but the model you have is definitely a visual upgrade. I think it looks great.

I do like the look. Would look allot better than this, on top of my Orange cabs. Nice playing too.

I have one. It’s good but not my taste of Marshall. I wanna sell it and buy the mini 800

I also have the mini 800 and it's great! It does have a lot less gain and it sounds more bright or 'bitey'.

Thing is that I don’t quite like the jubilees gain haha. I play on the channel 1 with the knob pushed and a boss super overdrive to have a bit more saturation.

Congrats!! Fantastic demo, nice tones and playing. I got a new 2525C a couple of weeks ago and love it. I agree regarding versatility, these little amps can cover a lot of ground. I’m still shocked how much I just like to play this amp clean. They are simple and effective tone machines.

    Fabulous Demo!

Great job. Seriously. It's very refreshing to see such quality work. Much appreciated.

Clearly that's one rocking little amp.
