Not really in the market right now but rewind electric came up.
They did a pretty decent demo of Ten Years Gone. Now the demo is humbuckers but the song live is Jimmy playing a Tele.

I think it’s pretty good regardless I like the pickups tone.

IMO, the only thing that sounds close, is that he's using the b-bender...

Got it , I didn’t even pay attention to the variac on top of the amp. That is more of EVH trick but unknown.

Sounds like part of that chewy tone, that you are hearing and liking.

Don't use a variac. You won't sound like Eddie and your toilet will explode.

Marshall tried twice with a Marshall SE100 Speaker Emulator/Attenuator, and a Marshall model PB100 PowerBrake. EVH had cast doubt on the whole attenuation/variac thing. (see/hear Smithsonian interview) Marshall gave up on the EVH stigma. Other companies picked up the concept and now Marshall has no business, or is no longer in that business. IMHO all thanks to EVH deflecting and protecting his brown sound.
Keep in mind that there is the variac and the attenuator. - the before and after.
Best new plug & play introductory product would be the AmpRX BrownBox, and, of course, YMMV.

Im pretty sure you put an A5 bar magnet into a Gibson 490R and its sposed to be almost the same spec as a T Top cept for the slightly closer string spacing of the R pup.
That said I have not done it only heard of it.
