Nice to see some good news once in a while. Now if only Jay Z., Diddy, Dr. Dre, Snoop, and Mase could all join him.

Any chip at the beast is a good chip at the beast though. One more demon down in Hell where he belongs.

Maybe there will be several hundred thousand kids less his influence now. Probably not yours though.

    Good riddance.

Yea, then he's guarded by people ....here of all places. Lol.

    What a world.

No hard feelings, Rick. I guess it was just my response on the matter. Twas not directed at you, bud.

That stuff has just destroyed the country since its come to be the cultural replacement. Sad.

i know what you mean. in several ways i can agree.
D (X) was a cool dude. yeah he made some mistakes in the early yrs
but a lot of us did. i did. when he was around nobody did w/o.
he wasnt a hoodlum like a lot of rappers are even though they have
the knowledge and the money to do better.
when them drugs and booze get a hold of you though its hard to break free
for some of us. in these later yrs he didnt give up trying to quit.
i guess we can say he fought it until his death. a lot of folks die before the
    fight begins.

He made some good party tunes, but as far as actual lyricism... nah.

R.I.P. all the same. Dude may have died of an overdose, but so did Layne Staley, Robbin Crosby, and others. Still sad.

nope he didnt have the flow of say 2pac but you sure felt what he was saying.
speaking of which, pac and X made good movies too. not many in my opinion
are very good at crossing over. Ice T imo wasnt very good at it. but LL Cool Jay
knew how to make the perfect omelet. (which movie was that from anybody) lol

    Rap has destroyed the country?

But then I'm not surprised to read that after 10 yrs on Marshall Forum. Let's get rid of that "Devilish" Rock N Roll too!

    RIP DMX

DMX is Rock n’ Roll. Defiant and wrote truthfully about a lot of serious issues. His message was one of faith mixed with the reality of life from his experience.

The party tunes does not represent his music. That was just to have chart topping songs. I defy anyone to listen to “Slippin” and not acknowledge his talent. You’d be either dense or complicit in mental midgetness.

RIP DMX. One of the greats...

If he KNEW he had 15 kids, how many do you figure he actually had? 50? 70?
