Pickguard on or off?
Ricks Clam Shack. Is that a gentleman's club?![]()
Yeah you’re right, I was playing to the Blues track on the first page.
Can I have that Blues track without drums, cos I’m going to do Drums and Lead guitar on that Blues track, so if you can only take away the drums but leave the bass etc. on it.
Might do another track too, but want to start with the Blues one.
thanks
Unfortunately that one was originally posted like that so I don't have that one without drums.
There have been 7 downloads
I'm not sure who is working on tracks. Hopefully someone who is participating will chime in soon. If y'all want something different to jam with let me know.
I said y'all in the spirit of this track addition.
To keep this moving I'll throw up another backer. This one has room for bass, drums, vocals, leads...whatever ya got. It's country or country rock depending on the additions. Another player contributed the beautiful acoustic, I added faux pedal steel in the beginning and faux viola via volume swells with my Telecaster's volume control in the beginning and end. I also added a Skynrd style lead at 2:13.
For smart asses thinking of asking instead of listening, it's not like "Free Bird" (I hate that one). It's slower and melancholy, more like "Tuesday's Gone" if you need a frame of reference. Real fun to lead over.
The rest is wide open for additions.
That was my Telecaster again through my Rocktron Valve Sonic Plexi straight to my interface, Two-Notes IR's and the room reverb in Two-Notes. Pretty stripped down.
In on one!!
You’re the man Rick!!
You are too kind Vin! I'm hoping to hear you cut loose.Ayyye - some nice talent there.![]()

In the sake of keeping things moving I'm putting this one up. have haven't had the time to give it what it really deserves. It's a great tune and some day I'd like to do it again.
Ron, thanks a million for getting this going. I'm still in for more.
edit: I misunderstood, I see that riff-raff already had the end lead, & what you're saying is that your mix didn't save...Hmmmm, something happened. My track isn't coming through. I'm using Reaper, saved it and rendered it the way I always do.![]()
I screwed up and posted the wrong file, but updated the link and got the right one in there.edit: I misunderstood, I see that riff-raff already had the end lead, & what you're saying is that your mix didn't save...
Great voice Sapient! Really nice.I might put that in the longer version and build on that.
JP, killer tone brother. Just right for that piece.
Glad your up for more. We're just getting started here. This will get really interesting when we rip some leads on simple blues progressions with lots of room for dudes to take a turns on like this.

Or crazy tracks like this one I got in on with a couple monster players a couple of months ago. The guy that put the backing track together on this has more hard hitting ones. Some are sick!
