Yeah you’re right, I was playing to the Blues track on the first page.

Can I have that Blues track without drums, cos I’m going to do Drums and Lead guitar on that Blues track, so if you can only take away the drums but leave the bass etc. on it.

Might do another track too, but want to start with the Blues one.

thanks

Unfortunately that one was originally posted like that so I don't have it without drums.

There have been 7 downloads

I'm not sure who is working on tracks. Hopefully someone who is participating will chime in soon. If y'all want something different to jam with let me know.

I said y'all in the spirit of this track addition.

To keep this moving I'll throw up another backer. This one has room for bass, drums, vocals, leads...whatever ya got. It's country or country rock depending on the additions. Another player contributed the beautiful acoustic, I added faux pedal steel in the beginning and faux viola via volume swells with my Telecaster's volume control in the beginning and end. I also added a Skynrd style lead at 2:13.

For smart asses thinking of asking instead of listening, it's not like "Free Bird" (I hate that one). It's slower and melancholy, more like "Tuesday's Gone" if you need a frame of reference. Real fun to lead over. :dude:

The rest is wide open for additions.

That was my Telecaster again through my Rocktron Valve Sonic Plexi straight to my interface, Two-Notes IR's and the room reverb in Two-Notes. Pretty stripped down.

I downloaded this one and will be working with it. Your tracks sound great and your guitar track sounds huge. Very nicely done. Really like the groove of this, very melodic and inspiring.

I just saw this link to some jam tracks on another forum.

https://www.soundclick.com/artist/default.cfm?bandID=771249&content=songs

There are 100+ tracks, many musical genres. A lot of them aren't my thing as they are but sometimes those quirky backing tracks are magic once you start layering stuff on them.

I'm gonna mess around with the track "D Minor Blues". It's kind of short but it might be good candidate for cutting up and pasting back together to make a longer jam that multiple players can lead over.

I used the track "D Minor Blues" in the link I posted above. There are 100+ downloadable backing tracks there.

I got my addition done this morning (clam included at 0:44 ).

Guitar: PRS SE Soapbar (P90s baby)
Amp: Rock Master tube preamp, Ultra channel
IR's: Two-Notes, Michael Neilsen's big Hairy Guitars cab pack
EFX: Valhalla Supermassive (It's a free delay & reverb download, get it you will love it)

Ayyye - some nice talent there. :yesway:
You are too kind Vin! I'm hoping to hear you cut loose.
In the sake of keeping things moving I'm putting this one up. have haven't had the time to give it what it really deserves. It's a great tune and some day I'd like to do it again.
Ron, thanks a million for getting this going. I'm still in for more.

Hmmmm, something happened. My track isn't coming through. I'm using Reaper, saved it and rendered it the way I always do.

edit: I misunderstood, I see that riff-raff already had the end lead, & what you're saying is that your mix didn't save...

Great voice Sapient! Really nice. :applause:I might put that in the longer version and build on that. :naughty:

JP, killer tone brother. Just right for that piece. :dude:
Glad your up for more. We're just getting started here. This will get really interesting when we rip some leads on simple blues progressions with lots of room for dudes to take a turns on like the backer in this link:

https://soundclick.com/r/s3k30e

Or cut loose on crazy tracks like this one I got in on with a couple monster players a few of months ago.

You will hear 3 completely different styles in this but they really work together well because the tempo and parts of the song are so different during each lead.

I took the first one. Frankie took the 2nd. He's awesome. He knocked me out with this because he mostly plays beautiful acoustic, blue grass and jazzy stuff these days. I didn't know he played stuff like this but he has has clearly done it all. Al took the 3rd and did the cool outro too. He is another all styles incredible player. The guy that put the backing track together on this has more hard hitting ones like it. Some are sick!

I dig the piano tracks too. They have such strong melodies that draw you right in. I can find some more of that if you like those. Do you have other types of songs you like singing? I have a hard rock tune I added a lead to that has a great hook and perfect structure to write vocals for. I'll make that downloadable and will put that up in the morning.

I can throw up some heavier tracks too if anyone would like to take a crack at some of those. I know of a couple of really cool ones. I'll download them and add them tomorrow morning. We'll get a little of everything in this so there's something for everyone.

I'm always the first to admit I'm not very intelligent, so forgive my ignorance, but isn't this pretty much just another "Show Me Your Riffs" thread?

And if not, what's the difference that I'm missing?
