It's hard to believe that 9 years past on this day April 5 2021 from the same day in 2012.
If Jim never got into the business, we must wonder what the music we love and the amps we play through never existed. Take a moment to think about THE MAN ! Jim Marshall RIP July 29 1923 - April 5 2012.JPG

Honestly he was in the right position to satisfy the wants and needs of musicians of the time who weren't getting what they wanted. If it had not been Marshall, somebody else would have filled the need. I'm sure Hiwatt and Laney sales would have been much better without Marshall.

Where there is enough demand, someone will supply it.

If I couldn't hear my guitar through a twangy Marshall, I'd probably no longer play it.
