Ive always been a greenback fanboi since I switched over from Mesa Mark IV to a Super Lead clone....I’m looking for something different to try out with a band... I am looking at these choices: Amp would be a Fargen 1968 Lead/Bass clone.

    Celestion Alnico Gold
    Celestion G12-65
    Celestion V-Type
    Celestion CL-80

All opinions are welcome... Pros and cons...

Depends on the sound / style you're after.

Creamback M and H pair exceptionally well. G12-65 would be my second choice.

AlNiCo is the way to go. I'd opt for the Cream, but the Gold should also perform well.

In Joe Bonamassa's most recent interview with Sweetwater which I have posted he recommended Celestion CL-80. He said Keef also uses that speaker.
    Worth checking it out.

CL-80s are the sound of early Anthrax.

Sure, if early Anthrax floats your boat. I like 'em (although I don't own any).

G12H75 Creamback. Or G12M65 Creamback. Maybe G12T75s for a more scooped Kiss type tone.

The over all good reviews do indicate that it is a very versatile speaker.

I have G12-T75, i use it on my gainier amp... Tried it with the Plexi clone, it didnt sound right to me... i am narrowing down between Alnico Gold or G12-65 Heritage.

The g12-65 (NOT creamback) is very sweet sounding with a plexi.
