No bargains there. Not on anything I might want. Oh well, it was fun to look.

I have enough stuff...but I'm a sucker for any Fender or Marshall chassis as long as it's tube and from the early 80s or older.

That one made me smh too. So it has a '65 body. Whoop.

Singer songwriter who covers a lot of ground. Bob Dylan has covered his stuff. Nominated for a Grammy 9 times. Saw him open for George Thorogood & ZZ Top quite a while back. He actually has a pretty large following.

yeah a 65 body aint worth 8k, but some nice prices on a lot of stuff.

it was bad lol. BUT, the kind folks on here rushed to my aid and gave me
a solid lesson on clapton history and whats to like about him. i did the
research they suggested. end result........Clapton Fan. lol
and to even think once upon a time i wasnt a Keith Richards fan.

and there you go. :nutkick: lol.
no seriously, Clapton was a huge torch carried for the blues guitar.
sure there were others but he kept it as close to rock/blues as it could get.
as far as him being a total bad ass, well, im not on that wagon per se, but
i will tell you this, my list of favorite players and music styles would be very
lopsided if it werent for him. blues/rock guitar might not be as far along as it is
had he not been involved as deep as he was.

Clapton deserves some credit for introducing the blues to white kids in England & the US. I'd rather listen to Albert & Freddie king play their stuff than Clapton.

He's done a few things I like, but for me he's overrated.
