Wandered past the lounge the other day with the teenage offspring lazing on the couch.

Was about to scold them for being lazy.... then I noticed he's wearing a Pink Floyd tour shirt, and she's wearing a vintage Fender shirt.

I had a tear instead.

And they continued lazing on the couch - their plan worked...

Don't be fooled, though. I've approached a few people based on their t-shirts with disappointing results.

Me: "Hey, nice Stones shirt. You dig 'em, too?"
Her: "Huh? Oh, this tongue thing? My dad gave it to me..."
Me: "[...]"

It's just one step above that other type;

Me: "You're wearing a Che t-shirt...?"
Them: "Yeah, totally cool!"
Me: "Do you know who he was? Did you ever even buy an album?!"
Them: "Uh, no, but I'll check him out on Youtube later...."

Now there are brown stripes on their silly flags, too - I enjoy asking them how the 'brown' light got into the spectrum. [confusion ensues]
