If you may be wondering well here it is!

I paid my "Premium" membership via PayPal and I was wondering when it was annually due. Well today PayPal sent me a message stating I automatically paid Marshall Forum and the next auto payment would be 1 year from now. Just wanted to up date you al! I do no not like auto payments...I LOVE the big MF but auto payments to anyone...NO WAY!

Norton tried to make me auto-pay. I said "no way auto pay." They said "OK."

That's a setting in PayPal for "Automatic Payments". You can control that stuff in the configurations for it.

Here is different because it's implied that you're becoming a "member" of something; it's the ones where you buy say ...a set of ...say, wheels, and the company decides to create and autopayment inside the transaction. ?? Umm ...for what??? They get deleted quickly.

Yeah my biggest gripe with "autopay" is the difficulty to turn off or cancel a subscription. They litterly make it as difficult as possible and prey on people's laziness or forgetfulness to cancel or turn off autopay.

    Scummy.

Well he paid x#$ to become a Premium Member .
The membership allows him to show off that he's a Premium Member and
I think it also allows membership to have ad free viewing of the Marshall Forum.

p.s. MF'rs suggested that a draw for a Marshall fridge would be incentivizing but that got a cold shoulder from the powers that be.

    I don't subscribe to subscriptions.

If you have ads, I'll just use a blocker

If its a streaming service, I'll just VPN torrent for free, even though I would happily pay to see "only the content I want" at a reasonable price, no one does that, so they can go without my money.

I buy albums so I physically own it, never Spotify, or YouTube.

I lied.... I have Amazon prime, but only due to pandemic.

No one pays for a premium membership to get badges, banners and win refrigerators, they do it because it shows appreciation for the opportunity and privilege to be a part of this great forum. In turn, as a token, you get a banner that shows your elevated commitment to...

    wait for it...

    this great forum.
