Sometime in the 90's I was offered a vintage Gibson PAF pickup and like an idiot I passed as I didn't have the money ($500) . Double Black coils , no cover . I don't know what the output reading was , but still what a swing and a miss .

For me it's not the ones I should've bought , but the ones I sold / traded for one reason or another

Same here , the ones that I let go . I did see a nice Les Paul custom in white kind of Randy style for $2500. I was not shopping guitars that day I think I bought the Mesa Boogie solo single rectifier. That is also gone. My 70’s SG Deluxe is my greatest gear loss. Something like this:

I played a '64 ES-335 in a small, since-closed guitar store in Pasadena, CA around 2010. The finish had cracked into a million spider webs, and the sound was glorious. Unplugged, it was almost as loud as an acoustic guitar. Every semi-acoustic I've played since has been a disappointment.

The store wanted $3.5k for it. I had just a little more than that in my savings account, but I'm not inclined toward impulsive purchases, and decided to sleep on it.

I went back the next day and it was gone.

Back in 1969, I was offered a Gibson SG Les Paul Std for $200.00.

I declined because I could buy a new SG Std for $214.00.

You have some really nice 335’s, much prettier than that one. I’ve been looking at a LP Std. with P90’s in it in that same color. If it was almost any other color I would own it. Just can’t dig “bowling ball blue” on a guitar.

    Thank you.

    I'm gassing for a tobacco burst 335.

It may be in the fold at the end of the year.

A nice 80's, 4-digit-serial, bottle opener headstock, maple board ESP M-I that a buddy of mine ended up buying.

It hasn't gotten away yet but it will...
Saw a danelectro on fb marketplace for 150 Aussie bucks, listed 11 minutes ago, nearly wet my pants as it's the guitar I want after the Tele and the nos+ or whatever model it is was listed 11 minutes ago and costs 850 to 950 new Aussie dollars.
So I message, very interested, call me on blablabla. 5 minutes later it's been taken down, I'm thinking damn, some bugger has it, will prolly realist it at whatever times the price.
Nope, seller relisted 2 hours later for 500 bucks, still not a bad price but not a steal, so I went ahead and ordered the Tele, for 1050,.
The big shame is it was like a baby pink, very light. I only see them in aus for sale in blue black and green pastels.
    The pink looks really cool

Now that might be nice. I saw some flame top's (and backs) in ice tea and a very light tobacco burst that I really liked. The backs were just as nice as the top's. I'd be tickled to death with your red one, or blue one, or green or.... you don't need a tobacco burst.

I still give my brother a hard time over passing on a 1987 Ibanez RG550 for a good price just because it was in pink ("Lipstick Red"). Saw it shortly afterwards at triple the price because it went to a flipper.

Ok, ok, I’ll pay the $750 send the “bad” one right over. Jezz, next you’ll want me to pay the shipping! Ha!

The twins sure do look nice lying in that bed. Any difference in the 2? Maybe one has a smaller f-hole? (Oh god, the pains are coming back)

The 1968 has a bigger neck...............more of a baseball bat.

    The bridge saddles are steel.

It has battle scars and it's a player.

The 1969 neck gets slimmer toward the nut.

    The bridge saddles are plastic.

    It's a peach.

Most player do not prefer this.

    I'm fine with it.

IMO, the '69 has a clear sound.
