I ordered one in February. It arrives tomorrow. I also bought a nice iPad to go with it, that also arrives tomorrow. (Currently don't have one.) We'll see how it works out. Also, I hear the hum is nearly unbearable. The cheap power supply included is ungrounded. So I also bought a nicely built grounded power supply with the same specs to use with it. That's supposed to help with the hum dramatically. Again, we'll see.
Man, this company is taking some serious heat online for their business practices. Hope you guys enjoy the amp. I had considered ordering one myself but the lack of a speaker out and the major delay in production/delivery kind of killed it for me.
I'm getting it mainly as a hardware and software combo for practicing. I hope it's actually a fun practice tool. It's not my main amp; it'll be sitting next to a Marshall SV20H and a Fender Blues Junior.
I have been looking hard . They are running a good price to buy it before it ships but some people are impatient. Not sure yet but I might go with the orange stamp (smaller footprint and tube pre.) , good price to.
I ordered one yesterday. It is a little bush league that they charge your credit card upon ordering and not on shipping, but it's only $224. I'll forget about it and move on until it shows up at my door in a few months, and it'll be a nice "surprise."
Exactly what I did. So many people bitched, threatened to sue, etc. They were giving themselves strokes. Life's too short for all that stress over that little thing.
I won't be getting one until they can actually fill the order. It is kind of insulting that people that paid over six months ago have not received their amps but they seem to have enough to give away to youtubers.
Spark is here. The box, and where it sits in my amp cabinet. No time to mess with it right now. Did plug in a play a bit, connect to my iPad, just to be sure it functions. Then back to my job.
That company is all about some marketing bs and hype. Stay far away. When I was still using plugin amp sims they had about the nastiest sounding amp plugin out there. Add their business practices on top of that.
