Love in - N - out
Likewise, I had a stroke in 2012, which I suspect was due to a lifetime of quick foods, stress, and working with computers for over 2 decades. That, and I was never even overweight. So you never know. Just all of a sudden, one day...Ever since the heart attack in September 2016 Fast food has made me feel like shit.
Gradually, I ate less and less of it.
Till now, I'll only eat it as a last resort.

Hope you're both in good health these days. Lots of great humor on this forum mixed in with the amp stuff, but on the serious side truly hope you're both living well.

looks like a double-double w/ grilled onions...@Dogs of Doom
Is that "The Animal"? The couple times I went to the west coast I ate there that's what I got. Apparently it's not on the regular menu, or so I was told.
they do lack flavor, but supposedly are better for you...I bought me one of those air fryers. Haven't used it yet. Are they any good?
My son gave my wife an air fryer, great for fries, chicken, if it’s not over cooked, my wife uses it quite a bit.they do lack flavor, but supposedly are better for you...
I bought one that's a microwave/convection/air-fryer 3-in-1.
I mean, I could air fry a pizza, & it would probably be nice, because the grease would drip off & not get the crust soggy, but, IDK if it would be any better.
I fry freezer fried foods in it, & they seem to lack a bit in flavor, as opposed to frying them again.
I air fry stuff like french fry leftovers & they cook better than if you try reheating them any other way.
So, IMO, they serve their purpose, but are not a magic replacement, if you're expecting great flavor for everything. Better health? That might be up for grabs, depending on if you use it right, or not.
I always see people talk about how delicious air-fried food tastes, but, IMO, it lacks flavor, so delicious wouldn't be my 1st thought.
I guess any cutting out of deep frying in oil/grease is a step in the right direction health-wise. Some things cook remarkably well in it...
Cooking w/ it, is a learning curve.
I like to nuke things up front & then air-fry to take away the nuke molecular dissipation of moisture...
Packaged nicely and cheeseburgers constructed to perfection.. the Japanese don’t joke around..
