    Hi,

I have some electrical power fluctuations, also some unexpected power down so I was thinking to plug the amplifier into a UPS unit (e.g. CyberPower BR1000ELCD, 1000VA, 600W)

Q: is it ok or the amplifier will be damaged if used in this way ?

    Thanks in advance!

I think it would be fine , but use a heavy gauge extension cord,( not lamp cord)
    Cheers

I prefer using a Fed Ex unit over the UPS but both will get the job done.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist.

UPS units are very durable, you can throw them around, drop them, kick them............

Thanks for the answer ! I will use the cord of the amp and the cord of UPS ( since it is 600W, I guess should cover the 375W needed by the DSL)
