Plexi Or Super Lead ?

    I believe Marshall began using "Mark II" when they switched to PCB construction. It's been a while, so this may not be accurate.

    Except when it’s one of the dozens of other models that sported plexi panels.

    That’s roughly when they started printing MK II on the rear panel of the 4 input/6 knob heads but it was used way before that on JTM45’s.

    Seems to have denoted a ‘6 knob’ model, as opposed to MKIII (50w 8 knob Super PA), MKIV (Tremolo) or MKV (100watt PA).
