    Hey gang!

So, ahead of tomorrow's official release -on CD and digital- of our mini-LP Jack of All Spades, Ghost Cult Magazine hosted an exclusive premiere stream.

I've posted the first two songs here before (they were released as singles) but I'd love it if you guys checked out the other tunes as well. Anyway, here's the link to the stream, you can click between songs from the tracklist in the video description.

    Hope you enjoy!

    Cheers,
    ripper

P.S. Rhythm guitars and melodic lead lines are DSL100H through a Marshall 1936V 2x12 cab

It’s a bit that the morning show does on Friday’s, they take a song from a unsigned band, and play it, then callers and the morning show all listen and critique it, there have been a couple of local bands getting airplay in this fashion
I will name a few of them that have been on the show
    Dirty Honey
    Violet Saturn
    Slaves to Humanity
    Joyous Wolf
I can’t seem to remember the other’s but all these bands have been getting airplay since they were on.
    Cheers
And keep up the great work
    You guys rock !!

Song structure and performance sounded great. Can definitely hear the Maiden and Slayer influences. The vocalist kinda sounded like Geoff Tate in the 2nd to last song.
If I was mixing and mastering it, I would have made it a little louder and punchier- in your face sounding. To me, the mix is a wee bit lack luster for a metal album. I like it loud :)
    Those DSL amps GROWL!
    Great job!

I checked that out, seems interesting! There's one issue though, they say that songs must not have obscene or indecent content... does this extent to profanity? Cos I've been known for dropping an F-bomb or two in my lyrics :D. If that's the case, then The Devil Within, Words Never Said and Crucify Their Way are out. Then they say that songs length must not be more than 5 minutes, so Supersonic is out too. That leaves Monarch, which isn't exactly single material, haha!

Anyway, I'll email them and ask. Thanks for tuning me in!

Thanks bro, both for taking the time to listen and for your feedback! It's much appreciated. I'm the vocalist, btw, as well as the rhythm guitar player. :D

Regarding the mix/mastering, I actually did ask the mastering engineer if he could get it a bit louder but he recommended against that, and I deferred to his judgement.

    Thanks again!!!
