Nice score. Those are good sounding EL34s. Probably the best all around cp EL34 I've tried.

Was able to order these before things got crazy. Wonder if NTD will be a thing moving forward……….

My new tubes so far this week:
Matched quad of JJ EL34s
10 JJ ECC83s
Matched quad of Shuguang KT66s.

Waiting for some Sovtek 6550WEs to arrive tomorrow, too.

Hope those last longer than mine did. Sounded good though. Warm 34.

I've got bins of ANOS and CP. Power and preamp.

Still? I could add on a few more power toobs.

Tube porn...

IDK how long to expect shortages, but I did not have any extras of the tubes I prefer to use. Only one pair of powers, and one set of 3x Preamp tubes. Then I have 2X sets of power tubes that I don't like as much, and 7 or 8 preamp tubes I don't normally use...Shugang, New Sensor. So It really wasn't a "panic" buy for me- I had been holding off for over a year simply because I did not need them yet- but when I saw how things were going overseas, I figured I better get an order in before I could no longer do so.

On top of that, all my stuff is packed away in storage and will be moving in the coming months so I wanted some extras just in case some don't survive the move. My DSL didn't survive the move (an accident) so I'm extra cautious.

I couldn’t find anymore 6550s :(

Tube Amp Doctor still had matched quartets of JJ EL34s yesterday, and the price is good. About $100, which included shipping from Germany to the US.

I'm going to wait out this tube shortage thing. I currently have 3 amps that use a set of EL34s and I have 4 extra sets on the shelf. As for AX7s, I probably have around 50 of those, so good there as well :)

My Eurotubes order showed up today.

They are a class act. These things were packed like it was a Faberge Egg. Good sized box, with plenty of room around on all sides for high density packing peanuts--The E34Ls and the 803S/83S pre amp tubes rubber banded together separately, then all 5 boxes rubber banded together. No way they were going to move/rattle in the slightest.

Best packing job I've ever seen from a tube re-seller.

Now, hopefully I'll get to use them this summer once I get moved.

JJs II's are my current favorite EL34 for sure. They sound better then the regular JJs in my opinion. They have nice balanced lows and highs and a great mid range crunch. I have been using just JJs for the last 8-10 years and have yet to ever have a problem with one or have fail on me and I buy them from the tube store.

I certainly hope somebody will jump in and fill the gap. As long as we keep wanting to buy them there will be a market.

Wow, everywhere I look all tubes are gone, even the preamp tubes are gone.
Ebay had a matched quad of russian tung-sol 5881 new, not NOS, not USA, Made in Russia. The people that MFR'd these are not to blame for the worlds affairs. If they were at a reasonable price $110/quad like they were four weeks ago I would buy them.
$349.95 They are outta their mind - but someone is gonna buy them:facepalm:

Panic buying in full progress, price gouging and all the other sad realities are in play now. Its an interesting thing to see in real time.

I'm not selling or trading, but I look forward to the end of it where we can say NTD and know we are actually happy the world is back to normal.
