Had to go out yesterday and checked the pawns offerings, 40% off sale! Found a sweet Squier Tele with a Duncan mini '59 and a push pull pot mod and got it for 80 bux otd! Total score, the pickup costs 80 buk:naughty: 20191130_075131.jpg pretty funny how shit happens, i was talking to my buddy a couple days ago about wanting a new maple neck Tele.

Gotta put some new strings on it and do a bit of setup but this thing is stupid good for a cheapo, i would be totally fine with it as my only guitar. That's a pretty good feeling.
And i was lookin at 1200+ AVRI's.....no need.

I wish we had more pawn shops here. We do have some but they are more for jewellery. We do have shops where you can sell or trade in your electrical goods, but usually to turn a profit they want to buy stuff from you as cheap as possible. Think of the guys from pawn stars and you are pretty much there. Anything worth anything is usually sold privately with the seller wanting as much as possible for any item.
    Sweet guitar btw dude :)

Just scored another Squier, a Strat this time. I've set it up and put the Quarter pounder and a old Jackson USA alnico in it and its kicking ass. Just a great guitar that i traded some unused drum stuff for. 20191206_121912.jpg 20191206_161811.jpg 20191206_162144.jpg 20191206_171206.jpg check that flamey maple.
It will be getting completely rewired and probably a ferrite GFS gold foil in the middle, also a steel vibrato block, it already sustains for days so its really gonna sing then.
