    Unlikely but not impossible. I had a Brasser sent here that didn't channel switch. The reason was a factory Ef up, they did not put a ground wire on the 7805's power plug connector. No ground, no power to the midi. This thing never worked. It sat in it's original box for 25 years. Signed by Jim, apparently never plugged it in.......

    That's wild would love to have that one! My thoughts too about it being NOS but you never know

    Compare the stress relief, it's wide open never was crimped, there was never a wire there. Also there was no ground wire anywhere to be found. It is usually connected at the XLR jacks top screw mount with a crimp on adapter. Upon inspection none was ever soldered on.

    The black wire there goes to the midi board, should be a wire going right to the PS.
    How i solved the problem was connect a jumper from the 7805's ground tab to an empty ground tab on the PS board.

    Nice work, funny it ever passed QA at the factory.
