Dude! Looks out of this world fantastic!!
That's a bummer but maybe a blessing in disguise. Now you can fix the spots that were initially bugging you.
Looks absolutely awesome Fitz
Be honest now; How many of you rolled over the image to zoom in?
Done - (for now?)
Just for reference, here's what I started with.
And here's the goal.
I don't have a white background, or photoshop skills, so a cheapskin blanket on the bench:
Some glam shots for my album.
The fret job paid off.
Haven't set the intonage, yet, but I got some good action with no buzz.
She's tight like I like 'em.
Gotta let the nitro cure for a week or so before I can really tune her up and jam a bit.
Hangin' with good company.
Thanks for following the build.
If anyone is curoius about the budget here's a summary.
I didn't include shipping & tax, or all the stuff I didn't use or re-did out of stupidity.
We're writing that off to educational expense...
Looks really great, it's stylish! The colour on your guitar looks better than the one on the target picture, I think.
Great job again!
If looks could kill!
Here's hoping the week goes quick for you!
Projects are fun!
Well done, you knocked it out of the park with the color!
Thanks, I've been gassing for a gold top for some time now.
The paint job on the Shorty was just coming up, well, a little short.
Also had some GAS brewing as a result of Rick's EPI Jr. vid post.
2 for 1.
Most excellent @fitz288
Another great job !
Id expect nothing less from Fitzy .
Looks amazing for single stage .
In another month it should be totally cured!
Looks great, love the "breakdown" .......
Used the Maestro Junior on this weekend's road trip . Last night's audience was full of musicians droppin their jaws on the Maestro
Looks good. Looking a little naked upstairs though. You should throw on this ....
Awesome! How does it sound?
I'm trying to let the nitro cure...
But I've dialed it in with a few turns on the truss rod and height adjustments on the bridge.
Intonage was dumb luck right on as good as it gets with the adjustment available.
The pickup is the P-90 size version of the GFS pickups I've had in the Hondo for years, so already one of my favorites.
After final adjustments, the action is still amazingly tight with no buzz.
Only guitar I have with just one pickup, so I've rolled the tone knob back a bit.
All things considered; it sounds and plays way better than a $99 guitar.
That turned out awesome! Looks great!
Almost afraid to ask, but I'm not getting the pic?
Really turned out great Fitz..
