It’s all good, I remember the early days of punk rock in California. The metal vs punk there was a lot of tension even violence. It was silly but it happened.

    "Action Jackson"
Nice low effortless action without the buzz.
All the strings relax on the frets when you lay her down flat.

I saw this on Reverb but the ad says
    Listing Ened.

This 1 is apparently circa 1988.

I can vividly remember playing Gazarris one night, and we walked outside to see our name on the billboard. And 3-4 punkers come walking up and said
Heavy Metal faggots and one of them head butts a newspaper machine, draws blood an continued to give us shit, and all I said was nice, that was cool, and they kept on walking an talking shit.
    Cheers

So, Jackson sues Carvin over the shape of the headstocks in 89 but makes a total rip off of a Fender.....

I can vividly remember the Charvells in the early 80’s with a fender neck, and I really wanted a single humbucker with only a volume knob, and they were made in San Dimas, locally to me, just never bought one, and I had just quit playing in
late 83, and did not pick it back up until late 89, and then they were out of reach.
    Cheers

Ive see people play metal on 335 type guitars and almost on all types of guitars.

Can be done? Sure…. Do I like it ? No… And most of metal players prefer other types of guitars to tele… There are people who still play metal on tele but not many….

Jacksons are know for V, RR, Kelly, soloist, dinky.

I agree , the Jacksons are known for their V’s but the Tele is quite versatile. Once you put EMG humbuckers in it , it’s more like a SG .

Its like wanting Ferrari and modifying the Honda civic..... If I had this that I wont be me :)

I hate teles, but if someone likes them more power to them.

Nothing screams more metal than sharp line Jackson V, RR, Kelly, Exporer, SG, at least to me.

A Tele can be used for any type of music, and has been.

Metal guys can be such conformists. ;)

B.C. Rich was pretty popular in metal way back when...Ibanez RG's were too. A guy who goes "YEAH YEAH!!!" all the time now was thrashing on a Gibson Exployer and it looked right. But yeah, I get it. You metal guys see a Tele and think Hee Haw.
