Guitar safari in Chicago. On CL for cheap and looking like a warmed over partscaster. The previous owner was disillusioned and disgruntled at his ESP-built-for-Kramer, Japanese superstrat equipped with an original Floyd Rose. Owner said he had it for 15 years...stripped the body, and also stripped the painted headstock. Ugh

Also he complained about not knowing how to set up a Floyd. For those in-the-know...see the pictures. He'd removed the saddle string blocks, put the ball-end of the strings into the saddle and screwed into the ball. That's not how it supposed to go. Check out the picture. He'd saved the blocks, which is awesome.

Anyway, his loss. This is great little guitar, original neck, body, Floyd, pickups....just a messed up finish and some quirky, but kind of cool, knobs. I'll clean up and play for a while until I decide what to do with the finish.

$200....I'll take that deal every day, all day.

Congrats! The head stock looks like a Suhr. I would think now that you have that little beauty you could part with that old red guitar in the background, you know, out with the old in with the new. I would be happy to give you all the money you just paid right back and take that old one away. (I'm helpful that way.) HA, ha, ha....
Enjoy them both in good health!

Ha, yeah that red Hamer was also guitar safari down to Chicago (2 hrs south for me) and sort-of player grade...great price...and it will be with me for a while.
You're right, that old Kramer 'beak' does look like Suhr. I've got a Kramer decal on order. It'll be period correct, but not model correct. Close enough for rock-n-roll.

Does that floyd sit flat on the body?

The Floyd is off the body a little bit, probably about as high as it should be. He had the spring tension set where it won't pull back, because the back hits the body.

I also have a Kramer from '84; Striker 200ST. One of the best necks I own.
