I found this 2017 Tribute at a mom and pops store in Phoenix. I had saved up enough to go guitar shopping for my birthday. Spent the whole day driving to every pawn shop and guitar shop in that retched city.

I played dozen of LPs, brand new, used, lots of different models, even a few ec1000s.
Came back to this one, it just sang to me.
It's used, but you can't find wear mark or a dent on it. Minty. It was love at first sight.

Brought her home, pulled the guard, wiped it all down, lem-oiled the board, glued in Straploks, new beefy slinky's, intonated her and gave her a test through the Tsl.
Added a Red Monkey strap and today I ordered an SKB case, as she came with a soft case.

So far I am very pleased with her.
Took her to rehearsal the other night to hear her in the mix. (Mode four over there) We were all impressed and my other guitarist is jealous again. I've had lots of guitars that have great sustain over the past 30 years, but this one is absolute amazing.

Ha! It was the first thing changed! Aesthetically I think they are fine, but when I get carried away and start thrashing around.... Well I'm afraid I'd lacerate my hand on that thing!....I know I would!

    Nice score - HNGD!
I have the same LP, mine's an '18.
The more I play it, the more I like it.
    Enjoy.

Thats a valid reason, asthetically an LP looks naked without it!

I like the satin finish on mine, and it's looking better as it ages.
But as @pedecamp said, for goodness sakes, put the pickguard back on before Vin sees it.

Watch out. The pick guard police are coming for ya.

I like 'em better off myself. Especially on one like that.

If you can prevent cutting your wrist with a pickguard then naked LP it is! :yesway:

I say put the pickguard back and tread lightly on his playing so not to slit his wrist.
